PS: There is nothing in my life that causes me migraines/headaches. But at least for me it's still not comfortable to use.

Brands like Xiaomi or Realme, using DC Dimming and PWM dimming of 1920 Hz or 2160 Hz, made huge improvements for people with PWM sensitive. With iPhone 13 I saw some improvements (higher PWM). Just the recent ones (maybe because everyone is now using samsung screens?). Older phones with Amoled screens (2 years and above) didn't cause me any problems. Just started having problems with Amoleds released in the last 2 years. I deal with a lot of LCD/IPS/TFT screens, daily (laptop/monitor both from work and personal, Xiaomi Pad 5 with LCD, Samsung A32 with LCD, LG TV, Philips TV.) with no issues. Screens with no PWM don't give me any problems. Pwm mostly affect people who have or gonna have migrai. I'm going to try playing around with it some more, but since it takes time, I'd rather somebody at least pointed me in the right direction.Anonymous, Is it because of pwm or vivid colours? I think I'm mixing up things while trying to work with the calibration tool, but in LG's LCS I only see these color gamuts: sRGB, SMPTE-C (NTSC), EBU, REC709 and Manual. On the other hand, I could also live with native gamut in both slots with different illuminant (daylight (measured 5000 K) and warm artificial light (measured 3000 K) for working during the day and in the evening). Since there are only two slots for calibration, I guess nothing else can be achieved, but if it was possible to add two more slots, I'd also want a calibrated profile for Adobe RGB (Displa圜AL shows ~85% gamut coverage and ~99% gamut volume) and for native gamut (red and green are beyond DCI-P3, while blue is off) to be used with an appropriate ICC profile. What I'd like to get is a calibrated profile for DCI-P3 and sRGB.

The triangles showing before and after calibration results were completely off. It seemed to work, the resulting calibration profile was uploaded to the monitor, calibration 1 and calibration 2 options became available.Īnd then I tried to run ccProfiler to see if the resulting calibration was done properly. So I downloaded LCS and tried to calibrate the monitor.

I bought a Calibrite colorchecker display plus (Calibrite is the new brand name for x-rite consumer products), which is the same as x-rite i1Studio Pro Plus. It supports LG calibration studio (successor to True Color Pro).
